Cebu Fiberglass Kayak(CFG) is a dealer of Artique Fiberglass Production Inc.(AFPI) owned by a Canadian. AFPI is a kayak manufacturing company based in Cebu. The Artique Team’s goal is to provide the most enjoyable kayaking experience in the Philippines. With over 7000 unique islands, the Philippines is the prime country for kayaking in the world.

AFPI began in Canada where kayaking originated with the Canadian Eskimos. The word "kayak" means "man's boat" or "hunter's boat", and native kayaks were a personal craft. Kayaks were used by the native peoples of arctic waters,who needed a stable,sturdy boat for hunting. The Eskimos used kayaks for hunting and traveling great distances, and were greatly dependent upon them for their survival. Now, the Artique production Team combines the knowledge and innovation of Canada and the Philippines to bring you an elite, enjoyable, and affordable kayak. Stability is defined as resistance to change, deterioration, or displacement, and it's synonym to reliability and dependability. In naval terms it means the ability of a watercraft to maintain equilibrium or resume its original, upright position after displacement, as by the sea or strong winds. That's why one of the extra features our kayaks have is that they are unsinkable. No matter how big a wave, or how much water....they will stay afloat !!!
